Thai Warrior Revitalizer

Date: June 19th, 2013
Time: 8 am-8 pm
Cost: $275
CEs: 12

This massage was traditionally performed on war weary soldiers returning from the front with muscle aches and bruises. An herbal poultice helps alleviate pain and inflammation. This is a deep massage that works slowly and mindfully with energy lines and breathing techniques.

In this course you’ll be presented with a traditional Thai treatment that has not changed since the Ayutthaya period (14th-18th century). The “sen lines” (energy meridians) are balanced, an individually custom made hot herbal poultice is applied to draw pain from the muscle tissue and an invigorating massage with peppermint and citrus essential oils renews the body. Energizing Savitri breathing techniques are then taught to the client.

The protocol used in this treatment is wonderfully unique. You will learn the benefits of this treatment as well as the contraindications. Most of our time will be devoted to “hands on” techniques. You will learn to perform a 4 part massage that works with balancing the sen lines first, relieving the muscle ache with organic herb packs second, an invigorating massage third, and breathing techniques fourth.

This treatment will increase your massage menu offerings, enhance your marketability, add to your client base and augment your income, while offering yet another tool for enriching the lives of your clients and relieving the pain and stress that are so common in today’s world weary warriors.
